Supporting a Council’s Town Centre Transformation

The building was purpose-built for the district council in 1991 at a cost of £6 million. Today it is part of the Council plans to transform all its services into a central hub, including a relocated library and arts centre, becoming a one stop shop for council services. The refurbishment is part of a broader regeneration plan for the town centre.

CADS Surveys was commissioned to carry out a measured survey of the entire site, with the purpose of creating a full set of existing 2D plans including reflected ceiling plans, existing and contextual elevations as well as a topographical site plan and a below ground services survey.
