Capture of polygons for 140 different species

To determine the optimum global locations for snake anti-venom, we created a series of polygons showing the distribution of snake species worldwide.

Oxford University supplied a variety of plans for the project. They commissioned the creation of a series of polygons showing the range of where different snake species can be expected to be found across the world. We attributed each polygon with key data to support the analysis. The information was exported in SHP format, producing a separate file for each species.
